CITY OF CHARLES STURT SUPPORTING TABLE TENNIS

Both the Woodville District and German Table Tennis Clubs were thrilled with the Council Discretionary Ward Allowance Grants initiated by Woodville Ward Councilors Oanh Nguyen and Charlotte Watson, ie: Woodville received $4,609 and has purchased crockery and cutlery for the planned new Clubroom facility.
German Table Tennis Club received $2,360 to develop a website to promote table tennis facilities at Woodville.
We sincerely thank Councilor Oanh Nguyen and staff who worked closely with us, for their interest and support in helping us to achieve this positive outcome.

Our new web site is up and running.

Enter wdttc.org in your browser and check it out. Early days at the moment, and we will have to work hard at supplying the necessary stories and photos to keep it up to date.

The entry form for the Vets Tournament is available from there already.

New Vending Machine. Have you seen the huge vending machine in the club? Things are still being set up and it only takes payment by card – most of us have adjusted to paying everything by card and having no coin in our pockets, so there shouldn’t be any problems with having another slot to shove our cards into.  It should become active soon.

Volunteer photographer wanted.

Now our new web site has been activated it is important that a supply of candid pictures is sent to the web master on a regular basis. We have purchased a Nikon D3500 digital camera with manual and a laptop to download the files, but a volunteer is needed who can use our camera to take photos when play is taking place. Limited instruction available.

Could this person be you?
